Manager Security and Safety

Job brief

Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures. Security Manager is responsible for monitoring the security operations for KPEZDMC. Will be responsible for security regulations, rules, and norms. Provide a fool proof security plan for the whole organization including head office, estates, economic and special economic zones and CPEC related industrial projects. Shall ensure safety of personnel, customers, premises and assets.

Manager Safety and Security will also devise a Fire Safety Plan in coordination with Fire Brigade Department and Estate management. We are looking for a competent Security Manager to organize and oversee all security operations of our company. Security personnel will be under your command while you develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain security standards.

Actively coordinate with Provincial Home Department for obtaining NOC for travel arrangements of foreign delegates. Proactive coordination with local administration, Police department and SSU for arranging security for CPEC related events. Manager Security and Safety will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills. Will need strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to safety. Strong leadership skills are expected of Manager Security and Safety for supervision of staff. The role covers a range of functions including but not limited to the following:


  • Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
  • Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
  • Hire new members for the staff and delegate tasks and duties as required
  • To check and monitor the access control of the people who are visiting the company
  • Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
  • Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
  • Implement Blue Book Security plan for foreign delegates as well as domestic customers as and when required
  • Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
  • Review reports on incidents and breaches
  • Investigate and resolve issues
  • Create reports for management on security status
  • Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience as security manager or similar position
  • Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Committed and reliable
  • Retired Army personnel will be given preference
  • Qualification & Skills:

  • Should be having 10 to 15 years of experience with well reputed organisations
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant to security software
  • Experience in using relevant technology and high tech. security equipment
