Hattar Economic Zone

Hattar Economic Zone (HEZ) was established in 1984 and till now it has been gradually developed in 6 phases. The 1443 Acres Economic Zone is one of the major manufacturing hubs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province with more than 400 manufacturing units operating in it. It is in close proximity to the capital territory of Islamabad and to the biggest province of Pakistan i.e. Punjab.

Surrounding Landscape

HEZ is located in the district of Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province. HEZ enjoys considerable accessability since, Ghazi E.Z., Hattar SEZ and Small Industrial Estate under the Small Industrial Development Board are all located in the same district as Hattar Economic Zone.

In addition, HEZ enjoys easy access to Haripur, Abbottabad, Mansehra and Islamabad (Capital city of Pakistan). These districts combined have an estimated population of 20 million people and GDP of USD 2 billion.
